Hollow Fiber Membrane Pilot Plant Rental

Envirogen’s hollow fiber membrane technology units offer versatile, high-performance solutions for contaminant removal across various liquid processes. Our comprehensive suite of membrane treatment skids include advanced technologies, including direct nanofiltration membranes (dNF), ultrafiltration membranes (UF), and microfiltration membranes (MF).

These units are available for off-site bench-top testing at our premises or as mobile rental units for on-site testing at your facility, allowing you to evaluate various membrane technologies, methods, and procedures under your specific process conditions.

Evaluate with confidence: pilot trials and rental solutions

Pilot trials offer a low-risk, cost-effective way to evaluate high-performance membrane technologies in real-world conditions.

Our rental assets and trial services deliver confidence in change, demonstrating reliable performance and providing proof of concept before full-scale implementation.

Ready to enhance your filtration process or explore new membrane solutions? Contact us to see how our approach can meet your specific needs with minimal risk.

Off-site bench-top testing services

Our compact bench-top pilot systems are designed for comprehensive testing on a smaller scale, accommodating our innovative direct nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, and microfiltration hollow fiber membranes. Requiring only limited feedstock, our 0.05m² unit provides detailed assessments on permeability and back-pulse efficiency using just a 20-litre sample – ideal for initial technology trials.

On-site pilot plant rental systems

Our on-site pilot trial plants offer dNF, UF membrane, and MF hollow fiber membrane technology systems to precisely replicate full-scale process conditions. For trials of new technology or upgrades to existing processes, we conduct clarity, output, and batch volume tests on live process streams. Our expert engineers manage testing to validate stability, clean-in-place (CIP) efficacy, and overall process performance.

These mobile, skid-mounted units feature 14m² of membrane surface area, providing production capacities of 350-500 litres per hour. Each skid measures 2.2m in height, 0.8m in width, and 1.2m in depth, with forklift slots for easy offloading and setup.

Book your pilot plant trial

Investing in new hollow fiber membrane filtration solutions is a significant decision, and pilot studies are essential to test the feasibility of methods and procedures. Our trials ensure that new systems meet the exact standards and flow rates required for your process. Contact us today to learn more and schedule your pilot plant trial.

Transform your filtration with direct OEM replacement membranes for beer, wine, and cider

For breweries: Optimise performance and reduce costs with the Envi-BMF polypropylene membrane, a direct OEM replacement for Pentair S-14 membranes.

  • 10% larger surface area for faster filtration and higher batch volumes.
  • Wide lumen design for lower operating costs and enhanced durability.
  • Read our latest blog, “Enhancing Filtration with Envirogen PureSep MF – The Future-Proofed Solution“, which provides a detailed comparison of the PureSep MF system’s specifications with both Pall membrane filters (including the PROFi model) and the Pentair S-14 model.

For wine and cider producers: Switch to Envi-WMF membranes, a cost-effective OEM replacement for Pall Oenoflow systems, and save up to 30% on microfiltration membrane costs.

  • Increased flux rates and larger batch volumes for cleaner, faster filtration with minimal waste.
  • Compatible with OEM manufacturer systems including: Pall Oenoflow XLE/XLS XLA, Pall Oenoflow FIT System, Pall Oenoflow HS
  • Envi-WMF membranes are up to 30% more affordable than Microza membranes fitted as standard to Pall Oenoflow systems.
