UK manufacturing is a practical part of how Envirogen delivers projects. Systems are designed and engineered by our UK teams, with plant manufactured, assembled and tested at our Alfreton UK manufacturing facility before delivery where the project allows. The facility supports large and modular system builds, full Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer training, customer viewing and several substantial projects in build at the same time.
For customers, consultants and project partners, that creates visibility. You can visit while a project is progressing, meet the people involved, review key requirements and understand how the system will be tested before it reaches site.
The equipment is only one part of a successful project. Envirogen’s Project Management Office (PMO) works alongside customer project, engineering and operational teams to keep technical, commercial and site requirements aligned from early design through manufacture, installation, commissioning and handover.
We run regular UK factory tours and actively encourage customers, engineering consultancies, specifiers, design partners and other organisations that influence industrial water treatment projects to visit our Alfreton facility. For major manufacturers and multi-site groups, a visit can also help engineering, procurement and operational teams understand the wider capability available across future projects.

Envirogen worked with Align JV on HS2 to design and deliver a custom modular plug-and-play water treatment plant. Moving from contract signing to 250 m³/hr treated output in just six months, the project combined pre-filtration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and oxidative treatment and required close coordination across major contractor and consultancy groups.
HS2Envirogen delivered a complete water treatment solution for Britvic, increasing production capability from 70 m³/hr to 200 m³/hr through 3D modelling, project management, offsite manufacture, installation and commissioning.
